"I had such a wonderful experience at Allred dental. Dr. Allred and his staff are super friendly and attentive they made me feel totally relaxed which is pretty rare for being at a dentist office. I was actually a little nervous going in for my procedure because I was scared it was going to be painful. In the contrary I felt no pain and they were finished before I knew it. It was great!! I would highly recommend Allred dental to anyone needing dental services."- C.C. / Google / Aug 21, 2017
"I used to be so scared of the dentist until I started seeing Dr. Allred. Everyone is so caring and they legitimately care about you as a patient and a friend. They care so much, they take your blood pressure when you sit in the chair! Thanks to Dr. Allred and his staff, I found out that I had extremely high blood pressure which was causing daily migraines and other health problems! Who knew I would find that out at the dentist? They care, they understand you financial situations, and they do everything then can to make you feel at home. Thumbs up!"- S.S. / Facebook / Nov 16, 2018

What to Expect
To begin the process of creating the veneers, Dr. Allred must make room for the veneer by removing a thin layer of enamel from each tooth that will be covered. Once the teeth have been prepared, he will make a digital impression of the teeth, which will be used to create your custom veneers. A temporary veneer will be used to cover your teeth until the permanent ones are ready. The custom veneers will then be attached to the front of the teeth with a special resin bonding agent. Dr. Allred will adjust the veneers as needed to give you a comfortable fit.
Using advanced technology, CEREC veneers are crafted from a digital scan of the mouth, so the patient does not need to have uncomfortable physical impressions made, temporary covers, or follow-up appointments to get a high-quality dental veneer. Each restoration is fitted for the best fit in the patient’s mouth and colored to match the other teeth for a seamless, natural appearance.
At Allred Dental, we are proud to offer no-prep veneers to save our patients' time and preserve the integrity of their teeth. With no-prep veneers, there is no need for any reshaping or shaving of the tooth that is required for traditional veneers. For patients with a moderately misaligned smile or with smaller areas of broken or missing teeth, no-prep veneers may be a great option to restore their smile without the time needed for traditional preparation.
A follow-up appointment is usually scheduled for about one week after the veneers are placed to make sure the bond is secure and the fit is still comfortable. Porcelain veneers are more resistant to staining than your natural enamel; to keep them in the best condition, it is advised to avoid staining foods and drinks like coffee, soda, tea, and red wine. You should continue to follow a good home oral care routine, including brushing your teeth with a non-abrasive toothpaste, flossing, and visiting our office for professional cleanings and dental exams. With good care, porcelain veneers can last up to 20 years.
Porcelain veneers are considered a cosmetic procedure, so it is generally not covered by dental insurance. However, our office accepts many payment options and we can help patients with financing plans to make porcelain veneers more affordable.
